Which Phaetus Hotend Should You Choose?

Rapido 2 / Rapido 2 Plus — The flagship. Ceramic heater, titanium heatbreak, up to 36 mm³/s flow. HF and UHF variants. The standard choice for VORON Stealthburner builds. The Plus adds a PT1000 sensor for tighter temperature control. From $89

Dragon UHF — Extended plated-copper melt zone pushes flow rates to ~70 mm³/s. V6-compatible. Best for speed printing with abrasive CF/GF filaments where volumetric flow is the bottleneck. $74.95

Conch / Conch Plus — Drop-in upgrades for Bambu Lab P1 and X1 series. The Plus version adds an integrated silicon carbide nozzle (Mohs 9.8) with 7× the lifespan of hardened steel. If you run abrasive filaments on a Bambu, this is the upgrade. From $26.95

DropEffect XG — Kinematic coupling, V6 nozzle compatibility. A versatile mid-range option for custom builds. $79

DropEffect neXt G — Ultra-high-flow (up to 45 mm³/s) with kinematic coupler and ceramic heater. Built for fiber-reinforced filaments. From $89.95

DragonFly BMS / BMO — Compact bi-metal design for space-constrained toolheads. Groove-mount (BMS) or screw-in (BMO). From $49.95
